We’re the international investment bank of the RBS Group, a fixed income and currencies specialist, and a leading UK bank which supports our customers to access international markets in Europe, Asia and the US.
NatWest Markets provides financing, risk management and trading solutions to customers across rates, currencies, credit, securitised products and financing.
Our customers include financial institutions, corporates, sovereigns, banks, hedge funds and asset managers. Our integrated, cross-product teams anticipate the needs of our clients, and meet them through excellent service and seamless execution.
Our model is simple, with two customer-facing businesses:
Our markets business is building its market making, risk management and thought leadership capabilities across global traded markets in the rates, credit and currencies markets (Trading & Flow Sales).
Our banking business delivers complex and innovative capital markets, financing and risk management projects for large and sophisticated clients (Financing & Risk Solutions).
These businesses have a reputation for working closely together. Our customers place a premium on insight and innovation and we focus on origination, structuring, risk distribution and high quality client coverage to deliver this.
We have our own board of directors and management team which allow us to be agile in our decision-making. We encourage connectivity and mobility across our teams and the wider bank regardless of what desk you sit on, and this is what allows us to stay nimble and innovative. We encourage diversity of thinking in how we work and in finding the right solution for our clients.
