Join us as a Senior Test Designer, and manage all the test automation activities in T&TR (Trade & Transaction Reporting) space.
What the Business does
This role is based in T&TR team under NatWest Markets Technology India (NWM Tech). T&TR is responsible to ensure that RBS is compliant with all global Transaction Reporting commitments. Key objective of the project is to provide a strategic framework which is able to deliver regulatory reporting requirements viz. MiFID, CFTC, EMIR, MAS & SFTR etc.

As a Senior Test Designer, your key responsibilities will include:
We are looking for an automation tester with extensive experience on designing automation frameworks with the help of Java.
Should have strong knowledge of service level automation testing.
Strong in core Java concepts including DB.
Prepare test conditions, test scripts, expected results, test coverage analysis and define risk based analysis for a given testing effort
Expertise in Functional testing and should be accountable for the assigned tasks
Should be well versed with service based automation using BDD framework like Cucumber.
Execute test conditions and maintain a record of test outputs including list of defects and actions for resolution
Develop and extend collaborative working relationships with senior clients, technology suppliers and operational support areas in order to quickly understand requirements, resolve problems/issues, suggest solutions and identify areas for service improvement
Maintain requirement traceability and coverage matrix
The Skills you’ll need
In order to be successful in this role, you must have the following skills & experience:
6.5-8 years of total experience with minimum 4 years in Automation testing
Service based automation experience is preferred
Proficient in Java and programming concepts.
Strong in DB concepts and SQL queries.
Good to have hands on experience on any RPA tool like UI Path.
Able to carry out Test execution, log of defects, prepare daily test logs, update Requirements Traceability Matrix
Proven analysis skills and the ability to effectively liaise with other teams.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact effectively at all levels across technology teams.
Self-starter/highly motivated person who is prepared to use their own initiative in understanding and following up issues
Keep a close handle on the quality of all deliveries that involve your Products.
Organize the status and triage meetings and send the Status Report to all the stakeholders
Prepare Requirement traceability matrix to track the test case coverage
