As well as this, you'll:

  • Present and defend proposed additions and removals from Approved Universe, as well as any rating changes
  • Manage relationships with third party fund managers and fund houses
  • Support the Multi Asset Investment and Client Investment Management teams in implementing the preferred fund range, and make sure that investment exposures are fully understood and accurately positioned with clients

We're looking for someone with deep and demonstrable experience in investments and fund research, reflective of the circa £1.5-2 billion client assets invested in the funds that you will be monitoring. You'll be familiar with software packages such as Style Research, Morningstar Direct, Excel, and eVestment.

We'll expect to hold a CFA, relevant masters degree or a suitable equivalent, and to be familiar with the basics mathematics and statistics of investing.

You'll also need:

  • Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to translate your insights into strategy rotation and portfolio construction
  • Knowledge of the UK retail investment products market
  • Fantastic analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
