If your expertise lies in leading a team ensuring services are delivered in a controlled and timely manner, a position as Business Management Lead is ideal for you. In this role, you will be responsible for communicating and enforcing sourcing and vendor strategy and policies to drive alignment with compliance requirements.
To qualify for this role, you need to have proven experience of producing and presenting MI and strategy papers for senior audiences, with a strong skill set in all Microsoft Office applications.
What the Business Does
This role is based in the CIO office reporting to the Head of Business Management- NWM.
The Business Management team is responsible for supporting the technology business area in all aspects of Core financial, management reporting, communication and business improvement. This includes
Producing periodic Management Information which supports management decision making; support structured and bespoke NWM Technology India consolidated Management Information and Reporting to the Senior Management.
Supporting on NWM CAO strategy; operating model, location strategy and alignment of activities to the global business.
Interfacing with Finance teams, ensuring data is provided is accurate, timely and reflects the position recognized by NWM Services Exco and SLT.
As Business Management Lead, you will be required to:
Generate commercial and operational advantage by developing high quality, actively managed and controlled relationships with strategic partners.
Ensure services are delivered in a controlled and timely manner, drawing on appropriate commercial and operational expertise across the bank.
Optimize value and risk through active management of vendor and contractual commitments whilst championing business requirements; liaise and be a central point for SCS across SLT requirements and SoW governance process.
Act as an Interface between SCS and SLT Project Teams / Requestors; represent requirements during vendor engagement and negotiation process .
Collaborate with SCS team to enable a smooth SoW and resource governance; act as gate for Purchase Orders (Pos) raised.
Skills you need
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and a good understanding of business analysis techniques and methodologies; the ability to plan, organize and prioritize workload, working on own initiative.
Business improvement, process improvement, change management experience; advanced Excel knowledge with good command on automation through macros, formulae and pivots .
Ability to manage the work independently, self-starter; excellent in communication across geographies.
Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously.
