What the Business does
The Software Designer for LT ODI/Transformation for KSOR team will be responsible for overall design, delivery and would work with technical and functional to turn requirements into delivery. He/she would ensure that deliveries are very much focused on long term ODI/Transformation strategies for overall RGL. They will be responsible for making this platform up and running and would be SME on Ledger for production support.
Ledger Transformation team will build the ledger platform by fully populating the ledger and associated Trade/Contract store with a complete data set when it will replace Walker as the books and record of the bank. This moves the organisation towards the target of implementing a single Group-wide control ledger data store with the associated operating model alterations
As an ODI Software designer, your key responsibilities will include:
SME technical ledger processes for production.
Produce technical solutions for requirements and ensure that solution does not break/hamper overall RGL architecture.
Capacity planning for DB size in production.
Agree on key SLA’s with up streams, down streams and PS team
Perform design reviews, effectively run design forums and perform code reviews.
Participate in recruitment drives and hire as per work to be done.
Participate in PIR calls and ensure that RCA is done on production issues /UAT issues.
Minimise the tactical fixes applied in any solution produced.
Agree on scope of work with BA’s while understanding requirements and define it for team members.
Representing the technology perspective and seeking approvals from various design boards , architects.
The Skills you’ll need
In order to be successful in this role, you must have the following skills & experience:
7+ years of IT experience years with hands on Experience in Project/KSOR development.
Must have successfully worked in 3-4 Medium to large size/complexity Projects
E2E delivery experience
Experience of waterfall and agile methodologies
Experience of working in large and geographically distributed teams
Experience to ODI/PL SQL
Experience in data warehousing.
Experienced in working in global teams
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Strong team player; self-directed, organized, capable of multi-tasking, and willing to shift priorities to meet business needs
