If you are an expert in banking, financial markets or consulting, a position asStress Testing Scenario Generation Manager is the opportunity you are looking for. In this role, you will support deep-dive analytical reviews and cross-business/portfolio diagnostic work to identify and evaluate underlying risk.
To qualify for this role you need a high-level understanding of a banking institution's P&L, balance sheets, liquidity and trading books.You should have the ability to break down complex problems into a small number of key issues, articulating novel analyses to resolve each issue.
What the Business Does
This role is based in the Enterprise Risk Management team at the Enterprise Wide Risk division reporting to the Head of Scenario Analysis.
The Enterprise Risk Management team ensures production of fully parameterised macroeconomic scenarios for assessing capital adequacy and testing risk appetite setting for businesses and the bank.
The teamsupports revision and development of an internal stress scenario library through economic research and collaboration with internal and external experts.
As theStress Testing Scenario Generation Manager, you are responsible for utilising analytical expertise across all risk/finance/treasury disciplines to support the assessment and understanding of RBS’s risk profile. Apart from this you are expected to:
