We're looking for a Root Cause Analyst to help improve and maintain RBS International's data quality. Through the root cause analysis of key data elements and the original data source, you’ll be looking at how it was collated, the business outcomes and the processes and systems used.

What you'll do
Under the leadership of the Head of Data & Analytics (D&A), you'll be improving and maintaining RBSI’s data quality through the root cause analysis of our static data. This will allow you to provide options for improvements to the banks data quality, and then work to implement them. You'll also become the link between the business and the D&A team to make sure the banks data gets to, and remains, at a high quality.
You'll then present your analysis findings to wider stakeholders, gaining support and buy-in to build and implement the solutions, making sure that they're fit for purpose while adhering to the controls and guidelines set out by the Data Management policy.
What you'll bring
You'll be able to draw on your knowledge of data management and understanding banking systems and customer processes, and pair this with your ability to see the bigger picture and understand cause and effect.
We're also looking for:
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to present to key stakeholders
- The ability to plan and be organised
- Confidence with MS Office
