If you're on an career break and are considering your next career move then restart your career with RBS. In September 2015 we're launching a fantastic 10 week paid opportunity for senior professionals to join our high profile Strategy and Corporate Development (S&CD) team.

What you'll do

The S&CD team support the CEO, CFO and RBS Executive committee to develop and advance the bank’s strategic agenda. 

During the 10 weeks as part of the S&CD team, you'll be involved in a commercial assignment in line with your prior work experience and skills, which will be either London or Edinburgh based. 

You'll also enjoy:

  • Training (technical skills, presentation, networking) and coaching workshops
  • A dedicated S&CD Leadership team mentor during and after the programme 
  • Networking events to gain exposure to senior leaders across the Bank
  • Flexible work arrangements during the programme, including both full and part time 

There will also be the potential for a permanent position in S&CD with flexible working arrangements once the programme is completed.

What you'll bring

Prior to your career break, you'll have operated at a Senior Manager level, and had extensive professional experience in one of the following areas:

  • Strategy Consultancy
  • Corporate Finance/M&A
  • Senior Economist
  • Senior Research Analyst
